How do they rank in playability and sound (assuming proper setup)? Is the mounting and lack of neck plate correct? The "meat" or thickness of the body backing the neck pocket is much thinner than my other Strats too. With proper attention, setup and cleaning it might be a keeper. I just want complete objectivity in the comments. I won't disclose the asking price (which to me is on the high-side). However, the beautiful maple top and back are the features that caught my eye. I'll assume for the moment it's original under the pickguard and probably a plywood/laminate body. It's really grimy too, but nothing a good scrubbing wouldn't wash away. It's definitely seen use, with nicks and wear everywhere. It's a Fender Strat, Made in Korea, CN2xxxxx serial #. I saw this in an instrument store while on a work trip.
